workplace learning:
trauma-informed practice in leadership and systems

For leaders, Boards and corporate teams in sectors that deliver trauma-informed or person-centred practices. Your work supports that practice through leadership and systems & policy design rather than direct care - and trauma-informed practice lives or fails with your critical support for the frontline teams.

These sessions extend trauma-informed principles from the frontline into how you lead people and design the policies, practices and systems the teams work in.

workshop: an introduction to trauma-informed thinking

Your frontline teams are already delivering trauma-informed practice and care. This workshop is designed for leaders and support teams that need to understand how they support that work from the unique lens of their own role and scope of practice. We examine how the same principles apply to your specific role, and broader - organisational leadership and the systems and policies your organisation runs on.

We look at where most trauma-informed models stop short, leaving organisational leadership and system design untouched, and what it takes to close that gap in your context.

workshop: trauma-informed HR

Apply trauma-informed principles to the full employee experience, across recruitment and onboarding, performance and development, and the policies that shape people's working lives (and are critical to their psychosocial safety and performance).

We examine how routine HR processes can either support people or inadvertently cause them harm, and how to redesign them so the systems meant to protect and develop people do exactly that.

workshop: trauma-informed safety & risk

Brings a trauma-informed lens to safety and risk, including the psychosocial hazards organisations are now legally required to manage. We look at how trauma and chronic stress present as risk in the workplace, and how safety and risk teams can identify and respond to psychosocial harm in ways that genuinely protect people rather than only meeting compliance.

workshop: trauma-informed leadership & transformational change

Equips leaders and change professionals to understand how trauma and chronic stress shape behaviour, performance and workplace culture, and to lead in ways that build psychological safety and trust.

The session is tailored to the level of leadership in the room, from frontline leaders managing day-to-day teams, to senior leaders setting strategy, through to Board members responsible for governance and oversight.

custom workshops

Built around the team or the work in front of you, whether that is another corporate function, a technological rollout (hello AI!), a leadership group, or a particular project or transformational change your organisation is moving through. Trauma-informed yoga and somatics can be included as an optional experiential element in any custom workshop.
